From neighborhood favorites to MICHELIN-starred destinations, Hannah Griffith has spent over a decade immersed in the hospitality industry, shaping her expertise across all facets of restaurant service and management. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Hannah moved to Chicago to study fine arts and musical theater at Columbia College, all while gaining hands-on experience in the city’s vibrant restaurant scene. She honed her craft as the maitre d’ of MK Restaurant, where she learned the fundamentals of hospitality under the guidance of influential industry mentors. She then deepened her skills at The Bristol with B Hospitality Group, mastering service, bartending, and management before stepping into her first general manager role at Formento’s in the bustling West Loop. Eager to expand her scope, Hannah joined Lettuce Entertain You’s Aba, where she gained invaluable experience in high-volume dining, large-scale events, and corporate operations. Her next move took her to Porto, a MICHELIN-starred gem, where she thrived in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting, sharpening her leadership skills at the highest level. Since 2023, Hannah has been the general manager of Daisies in Logan Square, where she upholds the restaurant’s impressive commitment to sustainability (recognized by MICHELIN with a prestigious Green Star 2023 & 2024) while leading service for its beloved café by day and pasta-forward experience by night. When she’s not at Daisies, you’ll find Hannah out and about with friends enjoying Chicago’s dynamic restaurant scene–cocktail in hand at favorite hole-in-the-wall spots, like Club Lucky and The Charleston.
